Hilton Anatole in Dallas, Texas, from July 10-13, 2008, in pursuit of answers."
Having shot footage for the
Wizard Rockumentary at two previous HPEF (Harry Potter Education Fanon, Inc.) events, we are very excited to confirm that
we will be screening the finished film at this summer's symposium, Portus 2008. A Q&A session will follow as well
as a possible second screening. We will also have a table at the Wizard Rock concert on Thursday, July 10, 2008, from 8:00
- 10:00 pm, where we'll have DVDs and merch available while you enjoy the music stylings of The Moaning Myrtles and The Mudbloods.

Festival, this time to screen the finished documentary. Tim's spoof on our film, dubbed The Wizard Schlockumentary, will

We are very excited
to be premiering the film in our hometown at the historic Garland Theatre. In true Harry Potter fashion, the movie will be
released at midnight. Attendees will receive a souvenir admission button and Wizard Rockumentary merchandise will be available
along with the DVD. We’ve partnered with our local library to put on the event, and twenty percent of ticket sales will
be donated to Page Ahead, a children’s literacy organization that distributes new books to local families in need. There will also be a book
drive on-site with children’s books, particularly Harry Potter books, available to purchase and donate. |

This is going to be one awesome event! For our part we'll be showing a new sneak
peek (appox. 40min) and running a Q&A session. We should also have some merch available and a few other surprises for

activities, as we celebrate both Harry Potter and the very human fascination with magic at this afternoon event. Join us as
Harry's fantastic world, as well as the magical creations of humans throughout time and around the globe, are explored.
Activities, designed for Harry Potter aficionados and novices of all ages, include a potions class, the Sorting Hat, a visit
to Diagon Alley, wizard refreshments, a tour of magical objects in Penn Museum, a display of Harry Potter artifacts, concert
appearances by the Whomping Willows and the Moaning Myrtles, lectures by Hogwarts professors, a game of Wizard Chess with

Even though we graduated from their rival university, Megan will be heading into
Husky territory to screen an exclusive sneak peek of The Wizard Rockumentary at the University of Washington's U
District Bookstore. She'll also be documenting performances by Switchblade Kittens, The Parselmouths, Catchlove, Alas
Earwax!, and Firenze and the Centaurs of the Forbidden Forest. This WizRockStock will probably be the biggest Wizard Rock
festival to hit the west coast so far.

and the comedic short by Richardson Productions as part of their movie-in-the-making, Harvey Putter, called Mopquus. |
